Terms of Service

If a translation differs from the French version, the French version prevails, without depriving you of the rights granted by the law of your country of residence.

Welcome to Drafto. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Permitted Use

Drafto is an app that records and analyzes your bike rides, and lets you ride against your Ghost and measure yourself against your friends and your club. You may use the app to:

  • Record, import, view and export your rides.
  • Track your performance, statistics and personal records.
  • Generate routes and, with Drafto Premium, follow them with turn-by-turn navigation.
  • Challenge your Ghost and your friends’ Ghosts, take on challenges and take part in leaderboards, including segment leaderboards.
  • Join or create a cycling club, post in its feed and organize rides with its members.
  • Discover and ride climbs.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use Drafto.

2. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Cheat or manipulate data — fabricate rides, falsify GPS data or use any means to artificially inflate your performance or rankings.
  • Harass other users — bullying, hate speech, threats or any form of harassment, including in a club feed, in the names of your rides, routes and clubs, or in your profile.
  • Post inappropriate content — offensive, illegal or explicit photos or text, or content you do not have the right to share.
  • Abuse the platform — attempt to exploit vulnerabilities, decompile the app, extract data by automated means or disrupt the service.
  • Impersonate others — create accounts pretending to be another person or entity.

Any user can report a ride or a club post. Content that receives several reports is removed pending review by a moderator, who deletes or restores it. Any violation of these rules may result in removal of the content, exclusion from leaderboards, or suspension or immediate termination of your account.

3. Intellectual Property

The Drafto name, logo, design and software belong to its publisher and are protected by intellectual property laws.

The content you create (ride data, routes, photos, club feed posts) remains yours. When you make content visible to other users (a public ride, a post or a route shared in a club), you grant Drafto a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and display it in the app, as part of the service, for as long as that content remains visible.

You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works based on Drafto’s software without prior written consent.

4. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Drafto is a sports app. With Drafto Premium, turn-by-turn navigation announces changes of direction along a route, but Drafto is not a certified navigation device, and a generated route may use roads that are unsuitable, closed or dangerous.

  • Keep your attention on the road, obey traffic laws and road signs, which always take precedence over the app’s directions, and do not handle your phone while riding.
  • The app’s alerts, including those from a paired radar, are an aid and do not replace your vigilance.
  • The accuracy of GPS, distances, altitude, weather and routes is not guaranteed: it depends on your phone, its surroundings and third-party services.

The app is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Drafto shall not be liable for accidents, injuries or damage occurring during your rides, or for indirect damages arising from your use of the app. These limitations do not apply where the law prohibits limiting liability, in particular in the event of gross negligence, willful misconduct or bodily injury caused by fault, and they do not reduce your consumer rights, including the legal guarantee of conformity.

5. Premium Subscriptions

Drafto is free. Some features are reserved for Drafto Premium, an individual subscription, or Club Premium, a subscription attached to a club.

  • Trial — you may be offered a free 30-day Premium trial, with no payment method and no automatic renewal.
  • Purchase — subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), under their terms. The price and duration are shown before purchase.
  • Renewal — the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it before it expires in your Apple or Google account settings (with Apple, at least 24 hours before). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
  • Refunds — refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their rules, without prejudice to your consumer rights.
  • Account deletion — deleting your Drafto account does not cancel your subscription: cancel it with Apple or Google as well.
  • Club Premium — the subscription belongs to the club: it stays active for its members if the person paying for it leaves the club or deletes their account.

6. Account Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the app settings. Deletion is scheduled: you have 30 days to cancel it by signing back in. After that period, all your personal data is permanently erased.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without notice. In the event of serious violations (cheating, harassment), termination may be immediate and permanent.

7. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the app or email. Your continued use of Drafto after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you disagree with the updated Terms, you may stop using the app and delete your account.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, we invite you to write to us first to seek an amicable solution. Failing agreement, the dispute will be brought before the competent French courts under the ordinary rules of jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also refer the matter, free of charge, to the consumer mediator whose contact details appear in our legal notice.

If you are a consumer, this choice of French law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, nor of the possibility of bringing proceedings before the courts designated by that law.
