Our story
An independent app, born in the Charolais.
Drafto was born in Salornay-sur-Guye, on the edge of the Charolais. My name is Christophe, and like cycling legend Bernard Thévenet, I’m a child of Charolles. A 100% local project, with deep local roots.
No multinational, no investment fund. Drafto is built alone, by my own hands, with passion and craft.

What is Drafto?
Drafto is a free cycling GPS app for iPhone and Android. Every ride becomes a Ghost: the rider you were that day, whom you can race second by second. Drafto also generates loops at the distance and elevation you want, shows your rear radar and brings your club together.
Is Drafto really free?
Yes. Recording your rides, racing your Ghost and your friends’ Ghosts, generating routes, climbs, your club and the rear radar are free, with no time limit. Premium adds analysis, navigation and sensors.
Can Drafto replace Strava?
For recording your rides, yes: GPS, distance, elevation, moving time, segments and leaderboards. Drafto adds the Ghost, routes generated in seconds and a free rear radar. You can import your whole history (.zip archive, FIT, GPX, TCX).
Do I need a GPS bike computer?
No, your phone is enough. If you have a heart rate strap, a power or cadence sensor, or a Bluetooth rear radar, Drafto connects to it.
I’m coming from another app. Do I keep my history?
Yes. Import your FIT, GPX and TCX files one by one, by folder, or the .zip archive exported from your old app: up to 50 rides in one go.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Your ride records offline and syncs as soon as the signal comes back. With Premium, your maps come with you too.
Where is my data?
In Europe, with our hosting provider in Frankfurt (Germany). We don’t sell it. You can export your data or delete your account at any time from the app.
How do I cancel Premium?
In your store, App Store or Google Play, at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
